Goten knew that his father was behind him. It was the most logical place to zanoken. Gohan, who was currently taking a break, also knew this. But the only problem was the fact that he couldn't turn around fast enough to stop the attack.

The attack came in the form of a kick to the side, which sent Goten flying into the air. Once again Goten knew what was going to happen, but he could do nothing but fly helplessly in the air as his father nailed him with two fists towards the ground.

Goten landed with a thump. He slowly got up, thinking that his father was done for the day. When he finally looked up he saw the KameHameHa wave flying towards him. He knew he could do only one thing, he went SSJ and dodged it just in the knick of time. His father, however, showed no mercy and went SSJ2, something that Goten could not do yet, and followed his tiring son.

Goten got some relief when his brother jumped in. Gohan rammed Goku, their father, with his elbow and sent him of course. By the time Goku recovered Gohan was on him attacking with flurries of punches and kicks. Goku was having quite a time with his oldest son, who was also at the SSJ2. Goten could only watch and wonder if he could ever reach that level.

Goten didn't see his father actually go SSJ3. He couldn't, so to say, see his father or Gohan. They were just blurs really. The only way he could tell was the fact that the power had shifted dramtically. Gohan was now on the defensive, and Goku was on the attack.

Goten was about to attack, even though he wouldn't have a chance, when Trunks showed up. "Yo, Goten, what's up," Trunks asked as if the battle above wasn't happening.

"Nothing much. You?" Golen decided he'd play the game for a while.

"Same ole same ole. Your dad went SSJ3," Trunks said, as if he noticed it for the first time.

"Yeah, ya want to?"

"Sure."

"Let's do it then," Golen said, wondering how it was that they could be best friends even though they didn't say more than like fifty words to each other.

They both fell into their positions, and executed the fusion dance perfect, even doing the "Fusion, HA!" at the end. Where layed two one second, now was only one. Gotenks had been born once again.

Gohan had felt the increase of power below him. He knew it was only one of two options, both of them in his favor. Either Gotenks had formed or Vegita was down below. He hoped it was the former, since Vegita wasn't the nicest guy to have on your side.

When the ki attack nailed his father, who was charging Gohan at the moment, he knew it was Gotenks. Vegita would have let Goku knock Gohan away first. He watched his father fly upwards with the blast, then dissapear. He sensed him appear behind the other large ki, and they bean to attack.

Only then did Gohan actually use his eyes to see what was happening. It was, indeed, SSJ3 Gotenks, and it was pretty much a draw, since his father had been SSJ3 for too long to be at max strength.

Gohan decided to end this battle once and for all, and charged his father. He was stopped however with a kick in the back of the head. He turned just in time to see Piccolo fire another ki beam at him. Gohan easily dodged and attacked with a weak Masenko. Piccolo didn't have time to dodge it, but was able to deflect it away.

This, however, gave Gohan the advantage that he needed. He charged Piccolo in a blind rush and attacked in the form of punches, kicks, and weak ki blasts. Piccolo was able to block the majority of them, but he was still on a total defensive position.

Gohan broke the grapple they had been in and floated in the air, and decided to use an attack he hadn't done in quite some time. "Kame...Hame....Ha!!" He released the ki attack right as Piccolo had recovered from the last onslaught. Piccolo probably had saw it coming, but it was like seeing a meteor coming towards Earth, you couldn't stop it. (Unless you're Bruce Willis. ^_^)

The blast colided with him and sent him flying towards the Earth. Gohan had to actually take some ki out of the blast, since it would've probably done too much damage. He did leave enough in it however to remind Piccolo not to mess with him for the rest of the day.

He turned his attention back to the SSJ3 battle, only to find it was now a SSJ3 vs. SSJ2 battle. Goku had ran out of all of his energy, almost, and probably wouldn't be able to keep up SSJ2 for very long either.

This was one of those times it was time to change sides. He went in and attacked Gotenks this time, giving his father a little bit, if not much, of a break. He was in a flurry of punches, and was almost winning. That was until they charged a quick 'Kamekameha', which definately came from Goten's side of the fusion, and whirled it close range at Gohan.

Now while the blast itself did little damage, the ensuing punch, which Gohan, and probably Gotenks, had forgot the name to. It pretty much knocked Gohan to the ground, although he recovered enough to land on his feet. He braced himself for a follow up attack, but saw that Gotenks was engaged with his father and Piccolo now. His father was at plain SSJ now. The battle was ending, and Gohan wasn't a part of it.

He changed that by jumping into the air after them and throwing a ki blast at Gotenks, despite being out numbered 2 to 1, was winning. It only served as a distraction, as Gotenks just knocked it out of the way, but it allowed all three of them to converge on Gotenks.

Goku was the first one there, and nailed Gotenks towards the ground, but before he could recover Gohan knocked him up to the waiting Piccolo, who sent him flying towards the ground. The battle was over. Trunks and Goten diffused, either on impact or on the way down, and Gohan and Goku dropped back to having black hair. Piccolo was lucky enough not to have to change.

They had all assembled and began to walk home when it appeared. It began as a dot in the sky, then grew to be a ship. When it got close enough only Piccolo, Goku, and Gohan knew what it was. Trunks and Goten were too young to remember the last time one appeared. And this time it wasn't one, it was two.
